Delete your account

1. Sign in to the SpiceGuyBot account you want to delete. You can do this in your browser without installing the app.
2. Click Delete account, review the confirmation, then choose Permanently delete account.
3. If asked, sign in again to verify ownership, then click Delete account and confirm again.

This action is permanent. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes your Firebase sign-in account and associated data from our active database, including:

• Account details, profile information, dietary preferences, allergies, and pantry items.
• Stored chat messages, saved recipes, recipe history, generated recipes linked to your account, meal plans, nutrition checks, cooking sessions, reviews, and feedback.
• Linked Telegram account details and delivery settings.
• Account-linked usage, marketing attribution, email records, and subscription information in our database.

Unshared recipe images hosted by us are removed with their linked recipes. The browser performing deletion is signed out and its local site data is cleared where browser permissions allow.

Subscriptions

Deletion cancels subscriptions and requests customer anonymization in Polar. Pro access ends. This does not request a refund.

Deletion timing and retained data

Cleanup starts when you confirm. Success is shown only after active database cleanup and Firebase deletion finish. If a service is unavailable, your account is locked and unfinished cleanup is retried every five minutes while our service is running.

• Hashed account and linked conversation identifiers, an email-verification flag, and deletion timestamps are kept to block stale requests for 24 hours after completion, then removed on the next five-minute cleanup run. Pending deletion records remain until cleanup succeeds.
• Temporary conversation memory on other server workers is cleared on maintenance runs. Older sessions that were not linked to an account expire after six hours of inactivity and are removed on the next maintenance run.
• Copies already shared with other users or published to external services, messages in Telegram, and data on other devices are not erased by this button. Your Google and Telegram accounts are not deleted.
• Third-party transaction history, provider logs, and infrastructure backups may remain under their retention policies. Their exact retention periods have not yet been confirmed here; we cannot promise immediate erasure of those copies.
