Ingredients
- 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant banana cream pudding mix
- 1 cup 1% milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup halved ripe banana slices, plus more sliced banana for garnish
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- Whole vanilla wafers, for dipping
Instructions
- 1 Combine the pudding mix and milk, and whisk for two minutes in a large bowl. Let sit for five minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 2 Gently fold in the whipped topping.
- 3 In a separate bowl, combine the banana pieces and lime juice. Then, stir the bananas into the pudding mixture. Transfer to a serving dish and cover. Refrigerate for at least four hours before serving.
- 4 Just before serving, garnish with the crumbled Nilla Wafers and banana slices. Serve with whole Nilla Wafers for dipping.
